Theaterhaus Stuttgart
Das Theaterhaus Stuttgart ist eines der innovativsten Kulturprojekte Europas mit einer einmaligen Mischung aus Kunst, Sport und Sozialmanagement.
Schon vor 15 Jahren war es eine Sensation, dass an einem freien Kulturzentrum ein festes internationales Schauspielensemble seinen Platz in der Theaterlandschaft eroberte. 2007 beweist das Theaterhaus erneut Mut, indem es die Tanzkompanie GAUTHIER DANCE als Resident Dance Company fest an das Haus bindet, womit wichtige neue Tanzimpulse weit über die Region hinaus gesetzt werden. In einer denkmalgeschützten alten Fabrikhalle befinden sich auf 12.000 Quadratmetern vier Veranstaltungshallen mit ca. 1.000, 400, 300 und 100 Sitzplätzen, eine Sporthalle, Probenräume, Werkstätten sowie ein zweistöckiges Foyer mit Gastronomie, ein großer Biergarten im Innenhof und ein Restaurant.
The Theaterhaus Stuttgart is one of the most innovative cultural projects in Europe featuring a unique mix of arts, sports and social management.
It was a sensation 15 years go when the Theaterhaus, as an independent cultural centre with a regular international ensemble, appeared in the theatre landscape. In 2007, the Theaterhaus once again showed its boldness by engaging the dance company GAUTHIER DANCE as Resident Dance Company, thus sending out important new dance impetus into the region and beyond. In its 12,000 square metres, the listed factory building houses four performance and event spaces with seating capacities of approx. 1,000, 400, 300 und 100, a gymnasium, rehearsal studios and workshops, as well as a two-storey foyer with café, a large beer garden in the courtyard and a restaurant.
